What is the price difference between refinishing compare to replacement?

Refinishing your existing bathtub or ceramic tile surround can save you up to 80% compare to the cost of replacement. Replacing a bathtub and tile enclosure can easily cost $2,000.00 or more when you consider removal, plumbing, tile etc. Refinishing costs vary depending on the refinishing company you choose.

How long does it take to refinish a bathtub?

When refinishing a standard bathtub, the process will take approximately 2-4 hours depending on the condition of the surface. There is a 24 hour cure time in which your newly refinished surface will be ready to use the very next day.

How durable is my newly refinished surface?

Hitek Surfaces provide consumers with the most advanced coating system available. Your newly refinished surface is designed to with stand daily usage. Your newly refinished surface can be chipped or scratched just like a new manufactured bathtub if you abuse the surface

How long will my newly refinished surface last?

Just like a new manufactured surface, depending on how well you treat your bathtub, countertop, tile etc. will determine how long the finish will last. If you treat your newly refinished surface with respect and clean it regularly you can easily get 10-15 years of trouble free service.

Does Resurfacing have an odor?

Yes, resurfacing does have an odor that disappears within a couple of hours.

I have an outdated and damaged countertop, can you refinish it or should I replace it?

I have a fiberglass bathtub that has cracks on the bottom. Can you fix it before resurfacing?

Yes! Hitek Surfaces can repair any existing cracks with our unique process through the use of an Inlay. An Inlay will enable us to give your existing tub extra support since fiberglass tubs are known to have weak bottom surfaces.

Is white or almond the only colors available?

No! Hitek Surfaces gives you the option to choose from endless color combinations and textures that will enable you to change the color and appearance of your existing bathtub, tile, countertops, etc

Is refinishing for countertop and bathtubs only?

No! Hitek Surfaces unique process allows you to resurface anything from your outdated and damaged countertops, hard to clean porcelain and fiberglass bathtubs, tile, cabinets and do not forget those outdated appliances.

Is there a warranty?

Yes! Hitek Surfaces offers a 5-year workmanship warranty to commercial properties and a 10-year workmanship warranty to residential homes against fading, peeling, or cracking.
